Visiting la tonnellerie

Jérôme is always delighted to welcome you to La Tonnellerie and explain his craft. Whether you’re a member of the wine trade, or a tourist from France or overseas, we can arrange a visit to suit you.

Visits are by priorappointment only and last approximately one hour 30 minutes. A tasting of one or more champagnes aged in oak can be added as an optional extra.

You can choose between 4 different formulas :
*Visite groupée (1h30) : On saturdays 2 pm: 27th january, 30th march and 29th june 2024
* Private Visit (2h) : From monday to saturday
*VIP Visit (2h) : For small group - Champagne tasting included
Visit 'Cooper for a day' (3h) : Visit + 2 animations (Barrel-Making et Cask-Rolling Roulage) + 3 Tastings : Upon request + Saturday mornings 10h 27/1, 30/3 and 29/6

Wine related games and events

We occasionally organise fun events themed around barrels and champagne: part play and part education.
Always innovative and always enjoyable; ideal for team meetings, the events can be held at La Tonnellerie, at your winery, or in company meeting and seminar rooms.
Themes for these events include:
>> Presentation of the cooper’s art and skills
>> Team games: The Circle of the 5 Senses, barrels stacking and barrel-rolling
>> Sabrage: Demonstration and Certification
>> Guided Tastings of a selection of champagnes aged in oak

Decorative barrels and serving equipment

We can supply you with bespoke furniture, a range of decorative articles and serving equipment all made out of barrels that once contained fine wine: bar tables and stylish bar stools, glass carriers, ice buckets and other innovative creations. For the barrels it’s a new reincarnation and a chance once again to be of service to lovers of fine wine and of wood.
